In order to submit a job posting, you must join the Vicinity Jobs Network by signing up for an employer account. Joining the Vicinity Jobs Network is free, and allows us to ensure the quality of the postings we publish, through verifying the identity of the employers who advertise with us.

Our job advertising services include much more than just publishing your posting on our web sites. In fact, we run local advertising campaigns for each job that is advertised with us. As part of our campaigns, notifications about your job openings are distributed through a number of online and offline channels. This makes it easy for job seekers in the community where the job opening is located to find out about it and apply for it.

The following job advertising service options are currently available on the Vicinity Jobs Network. Pricing is:
  • $39.95 for a Budget postings FREE for a limited time for job postings in the Greater Vancouver Area and in the city of Hamilton (including Ancaster, Dundas, and Stoney Creek),
  • $59.95 for the Professional job advertising service, and
  • $79.95 for our Elite service
Budget
  • Priority Placement: Your posting will be displayed before search results from other web sites.

  • Performance monitoring tools, tracking the number of visits that your posting has attracted;

  • Privacy options:You can specify which visitors should or shouldn't see your contact information.

  • Online applications submission, archiving of submitted applications: Visitors can apply for your job opening online by clicking on an 'Apply For This Job' link under your posting.

  • Self-service tools, allowing you to update your posting at any time and retrieve previously received applications;

  • Support by email, 1 business day response time on most requests.
Professional
  • 2 to 3 times higher response rates compared to basic postings;

  • Priority Placement: Your posting will be displayed before search results from other web sites and budget postings.

  • Performance monitoring tools, tracking the number of visits that your posting has attracted;

  • Privacy options:You can specify which visitors should or shouldn't see your contact information;

  • Online applications submission, archiving of submitted applications: Visitors can apply for your job opening online by clicking on an 'Apply For This Job' link under your posting;

  • Promotion on 3rd party web sites:
    We will distribute links to your posting through at least 3 other employment and social networking web sites, without disclosing your identity: Job seekers will have to visit your posting on Vicinity Jobs in order to apply for the position;

  • Guaranteed Title Page Placement for 3 Days: Your posting featured on the title page of the regional Vicinity Jobs web site that it is on, for a period of at least 3 days;

  • Promotion of Your Posting: We will place a link to your posting on the page of other budget job posting within the same category on the same regional web site, and on any of the category pages (as illustrated below);

  • Highlighted Search Results: Your posting will be highlighted in all search results that it is relevant to and within its category;

  • Brand promotion: Your corporate logo and profile will appear on the page of your posting (if you have uploaded a logo image);

  • Links to other jobs: If you have placed other active job postings with us, we will list them on the page of your Elite postings as well, in a section titled “Other Jobs with This Employer” - as highlighted in blue color in the illustration above;

  • Guaranteed Title Page Placement for 7 Days: Your posting featured on the title page of the regional Vicinity Jobs web site that it is on, for a period of at least 3 days;

  • Promotion of Your Posting: We will place a link to your posting on the page of other budget job posting within the same category on the same regional web site, and on any of the category pages (as illustrated below);

  • Highlighted Search Results: Your posting will be highlighted in all search results that it is relevant to and within its category;
